When licensing an image you will want to have a few pieces of information on hand to help you answer some simple questions.
1. First, would the image be downloaded and licensed for ‘Commercial Use‘?
Commercial Use License:
Allows an individual/company to download the image(s) for commercial or editorial purposes.
2. What is the usage region, for example: ‘Colorado’ or ‘Aruba’
3. What is the usage terms and category, this means how are you going to use the image and where. For example, your ‘corporate’ level ‘annual report’.
4. Finally, what size do you intend to run the image and how many runs (circulation)? For example, do you need the image to run as a ‘Full page or front cover’ and you plan on printing ‘up to 200,000′ copies.
